Heewon Im Wins 2014 Casey Dissertation Award

Ph.D. student Heewon Im has been awarded the Ralph D. Casey Dissertation Research Award.

Heewon ImHer dissertation project examines effects of direct-to-consumer prescription drug advertising on patients' medication regimen adherence behaviors, applying the media priming framework.

The Casey Dissertation Award was created through a generous bequest to the SJMC from the School's distinguished first director, Ralph D. Casey. It is the highest recognition awarded upon Ph.D. students in SJMC's program and have a long history of recognizing SJMC's most accomplished and promising Ph.D. students.
