Students Create Magazine About Millenials

Students enrolled in the fall 2013 class Magazine Editing & Production have created a magazine all about millenials.

GenMe CoverThe magazine, titled GenMe, touches on numerous aspects of life for the millenial generation. Features include topics such as tattoos in the workplace, stigma around the generation being unapathetic, technology addiction and faith, as well as a photo essay of millenials in Minneapolis.

Students enrolled in the class create the magazine from the ground-up, from concept to writing stories, photography and design of the publication. The concept emerged from a conversation among the classmates around stereotypes and stigmas that plague the millenial generation.

In addition to the publication, the class creates a corresponding website.
