Reflection on... Computers as Mindtools for Engaging Learners in Critical Thinking

This article was very interesting because it connected the constructivism point-of-view with actual ways to complete the vision through computers. I agree with how computer programs should not be used to teach students because they have less of a chance to connect with where the students are at than teachers do. Allowing students to use computers like adults do will help students be more productive and get them more excited to take responsibility of their learning. While taking my undergraduate I got to use a neat program for concept mapping, which I thought was really useful. I have also had a chance to use sensing equipment to learn about graphs and electronic field trips. All of these I really liked using because they helped me to develop my thinking further. I am excited to try even more of them.
