Afternoon baseball
Sorry for the lack of posting today. I had to get some work done this morning because I am going to the Twins game this afternoon. Another perk of working at the U is that I am a 10 minute walk from the Metrodome. And let me tell you, there is nothing as sweet as taking the afternoon off from work and seeing a little baseball, even if it is indoors. So, if you are going I'll see you there, and if not I'll think of you toiling away at your job as I eat my Dome dog and nachos.
We're gonna win Twins! We're gonna score...

The baseball gods have punished the Twins. Playing indoors on a day like today required them to lose to the lowly Devil Rays. Further proof that an outdoor stadium is needed.

Yes, about the only thing good about the game was the walk over and the walk back. The weather is absolutely beautiful. And Santana had a pretty good game, except for that one pitch to Huff. Ouch. Before he stepped into the batter's box I said to Tim, "This guy has some power." For once I was upset to be proven correct.
Why must we watch baseball indoors? Do not trifle with the baseball gods! They are indeed punishing Minnesotans for their stingy ways.

That's right! You did say, "This guy has some power."
Shane you really need to think before you say stuff like that. You jinxed the Twins...
