Sorry everyone, I had a little water in my basement last night that I had to take care of and I had to take the bus into work this morning so there won't be an entry until later. Sorry for the inconvenience, but life sometimes gets in the way.

Owning a house means that you can take nothing for granted. When things are going well, I start searching the house for cracks and water and things breaking down because I know "good-luck" always has to balanced by "bad-luck".

We have a running joke at the Maas household. Every Father's Day for the past 10+ years something has gone wrong. Leaking water heaters, broken water softeners, flat tires, leaking dishwashers...and on and on. I kid you not. I now dread Father's Day and refuse to get out of bed.

That means that the bed will break this year Brian!
