I think we should go for just Dakota. That way we retain a small distinction from our westerly neighbors.

We aren't worthy to be just "Dakota." In fact, we should probably be something like North Kentucky.

Shane, I gotta say, I love the new look of the Greet Machine. You should keep this style.

As a native North Dakotan, I am deeply offended that a bunch of lutefisk eating morons be in any way shape or form compared to the greatest treeless state in the union.

Treeless? Treeless? I had a tree in my front yard! Hell, ND even has a school of forestry! Think about that for a minute.

What a leader! Pawlenty decides to pit St. Paul against Minneapolis one more time! Even if we never get a ballpark and lose the Twins, at least the two cities will still be fighting which is at least as exciting as watching baseball, no?

From the PiPress:
Governor asks: Could St. Paul be ballpark location?

Associated Press

ST. PAUL - Gov. Pawlenty is wondering whether St. Paul could use a Twins ballpark more than Minneapolis.

Speaking on his weekly radio show, Pawlenty questioned whether a stadium would do more good in a location other than downtown Minneapolis. He was responding to comments by Star Tribune sports columnist Sid Hartman, who called into the show.

Pawlenty asked whether a new baseball stadium should be located somewhere that needs an economic development boost, such as St. Paul. The Twins and Hennepin County want lawmakers to vote on a local sales tax this fall to help pay for a ballpark in downtown Minneapolis.

The governor said -- "Wouldn't it be a bigger boost in the arm to St. Paul?"

Shane: Just curious...are you trying to use Movable Type 3.2 and this is the result?!!!? ;)

SBG: I remember that tree well! Didn't the Bismarck Druids come there once a year and hold some kind of ceremony and ritual sacrifice!?!?

Wait! I know what happened! Nick Coleman (aka Troll) has sabotaged the Greet Machine. Bastard! To arms, to arms!

Pawlenty has 'dropped the f***ing puck!'

That quote by the "Effing Guv" is just beautiful. How can any rational person vote for this fool?

He's saying that the Twins Stadium would be an economic boost to wherever it's built, but he's doing nothing to make it happen!

Hey Puckhead, (is that spelled right?) why are you against Hennepin County investing I'm something that would be an economic boon? Why do you hate Minneapolis? Or don't you really really believe it's an economic boon? Were you lying when you said that? I mean, what the puck?
