Thank you Wisconsin

Thank you Wisconsin. For a second there, I forgot what it felt like to be a fan of Minnesota sports teams. Now I remember.

Don't thank Wisconsin, thank Glen Mason. As I sat on my sofa before the punt, I thought, why not just run the snap through the back of the end zone for a safety then kick off with 30 seconds....but no....Mason is a genius. Nobody can choke like Mason, not even Marty Schottenheimer.

What I want to know is when do the Gophers get to win a game at the last second after they have been outplayed for 59:30 minutes? When does the opposing team drop a snap on the 5 yard line or let the receiver get behind them on a hail mary pass? When do the football Gods look down favorably upon the Golden Gophers and bless them with a big win over a good team that they didn't deserve? Because right now, the Gophers have had more than their share of being on the wrong side of the score on games they should have won? What have to Gophers done to displease the football Gods so greviously?
