Say it with me: Zamboni

“There are three things in life that people like to stare at: a flowing stream, a crackling fire, and a Zamboni clearing the ice.

I like another of his famous quotes:
"There will always be a market for innocence"

Ah, that brings back memories of opening the rink at 6:00am and resurfacing the Mariucci ice with nobody else in the building and no lights on but the direct lights... you want tranquility, I got your tranquility right there.

That Star Trib zamboni drove very nice. The old Dodge one was a pile... and the newer Chipotle one was a little too new, like driving a brand-new Ford 350 after you've been used to a beat-up old Toyota.

Wow Jon! I am honored to have a real-life Zamboni driver comment here. And not only a Zamboni driver, but a Mariucci Arena Zamboni driver! Fantastic! Thanks for stopping by and sharing.
