The Pride of North Dakota
Les Jepsen, we mourn your departure. Since your retirement, bounce passes have decreased league-wide by 90%.

He's rated 41st of ND's all time greatest athletes. (as of 1999)

How he led the Iowa Hawkeyes in scoring I'll never know...

I should have known you would pull Jepsen out on my behalf. As incredibly mediocore as he was, he is still viewed as one of the top five high school players in ND basketball history. He played two seasons in the NBA, and averaged 1 point and .7 rebounds per game. For this, he was paid approximately two million dollars. If he managed his money correctly, he also should not have to work another day for the rest of his life. And since you asked, his nickname was "Big Boy." I really should ask for the Jepsen hat I gave you back. Wearing it could get me some "street cred" around here!
Curt in Grand Forks (who reminds you that this is Jepsen's state, and I am living in it)
