The Kirby Puckett Memorial in front of the Metrodome
I went to the Kirby Puckett Memorial in front of the Metrodome today. It was a touching and moving display. These pictures really don't do it justice. And while I expected to be one of the only mourners at the memorial, there was actually a steady stream of people while I was there.
Those of you with slower internet connections, there are 12 more pictures in the extended entry.

Thanks for the pictures. If I didn't live five hours away, and if we weren't expecting a foot of snow this weekend, I would love to go to the Memorial Service on Sunday at the Dome. Will you be going?

Sure thing, Curt. Yes, I plan on going to the Memorial on Sunday. Will it be on TV up in the Forks?

I'll have to check for sure if it will be on Canadian television, but I would be surprised. It should be a moving event.

I know the tribute is on KSTC channel 45 here in the cities, starting at 6pm. It's the ABC affiliate sub-station here.

Do you know if FSN North is covering this? If not, will WCCO radio have it?

It will be on both channels 29 and 45 here in the Twin Cities. I've read that it will also be simulcast on KFAN (1130 in the TC). Jeff, you've probably got a KFAN affiliate out there, right?

The Twins have announced that the tribute will be broadcast on their site as well. I'm not sure what that means, but there you are.

The Twins site will broadcast, but you better have a high-speed connection.

There are KFAN affiliates, but none that I can get at night, at least not to my knowledge. Rats.
