Just found out
The Hennepin County tax to pay for the Twins ballpark will not include a tax on automobile purchases. That's right, if you buy a car in Hennepin County you will not be taxed for the ballpark. And as you've probably heard before, you will not pay the tax when buying groceries or medicine, either.
Back to work now, all of you!

Just clarification. The whiners will always whine.

It sorta throws a wrench in freealonzo's nice car-buying example, though. Maybe he'll have to change it to a boat...? Or an ice-fishing house?

I know, I know. Plus I like the nice class/race issue I inserted into the argument: new SAAB v. a used Buick LaSabre.
Maybe I can do airline tickets v. greyhound bus tickets.

That's a good news. If you are buying a car at Hennipin country you don't have to pay the tax for ballpark. This is applicable for groceries and medicines and other items also.
Just found out for you. Isn't it fab.
Found out what? Found out a reason to smile.
