House in recess

The House is in recess. I imagine they won't return until at least 8:00, like the Senate. We are getting closer, but I think the two bodies will deal with taxes, transportation, and bonding before they get to the Twins. We'll see.

Go outside for a little bit and enjoy yourselves!

The Senate will deal with the Twins bill first correct?

I had read somewhere earlier (maybe on here?) that the House would go first. But the Senate seems to be going first one most issues. They naturally take less time with fewer members.

Watching the feed, I am reminded why I hate going to the capitol. It's amazing how many legislators are either whiny, misinformed, or simply not persuasive speakers.
