Hennepin County's Referendum

And on November 7, 2006, Hennepin County finally had their stadium referendum. And the results were very good.

Wow! It looks like that anti-stadium backlash was really vicious this year! Opat especially stuck his neck out for the Twins stadium, and it appears as though he was re-elected easily. And for Krinkie to go down was just too poetic. Truly a great day in Minnesota (as long as T-Paw doesn't eventually screw the Vikes bill!)

All bark and no bite. Gotta love the anti-Americans, I mean, anti-stadium people.

Shane-
I was sure to point this out to anyone that would listen regarding results from last night. Thanks for bringing it up. As I type this Sush on 1500 is pointing this out.

My name-URL has a link to an article about the A's building a privately-funded stadium in Fremont.
