Conversation I had in Nashville

Background: Nashville is known for having an exact replica of the Parthenon, shown above. This is a conversation I had while purchasing my ticket for a trolley tour of the city.
Me: Does the trolley pass by the Parthenon?
Ticket seller: Yes.
Me: Great. I really want to see it since I don't think I'll ever get to Greece.
Ticket seller: (looking at me like I am the biggest idiot) What does the Parthenon have to do with Greece?
A small tear slowly trickled down my face.

The Parthenon in Nashville truly is awesome. I had the pleasure of seeing it myself.
Have to say that Nashville is a very nice city. Even though it is country music central.

I limit my conversation with strangers to topics like the weather. Makes for less crying.

Here's a way to turn that frown upside down:
Morneau won the AL MVP award! Whoo hoo!
I'm going to ignore the potential impacts this may have for signing him to a contract extension so I can keep this smile a little longer...

Wow. Just... wow.
That's Tennessee for you.
And thanks for commenting.

For the record, 95% of the people I meet in Nashville aren't from Nashville. You should have asked if they were from Cleveland. ;)
