Elaine Hernandez will defend her dissertation, "The Unintended Consequences of Biomedical Advances," Fri. Aug. 26, 1:00-3:00 pm, 915 Soc Sci Bldg. The public portion of the defense will be 1:00-1:30 pm. Her Advisor is Prof. Rob Warren. In anticipation of a successful defense, the graduate program is planning a small celebration for Elaine, to be held 3:00 pm, 915 Soc Sci. All current department members are welcome to attend.
