The Department of Sociology, American University, invites applications for two positions:
1) Tenure-track Assistant Professor to start August 2012.
Specialization: demography and/or social geography, especially health. ABD by June 2012.
2) Tenure-track Associate Professor, to start August 2012.
In conjunction with the development of an area of concentration in health and the newly established Center on Health, Risk and Society. Specialization in the social dimensions of health and illness.
