Ryan Alaniz will defend his dissertation, "From Tragedy to Opportunity: Long-term Development in Post-Disaster Intentional Communities," Wed. March 21, 2:30-4:30 pm, 915 Soc Sci Bldg. The public portion of the defense will be 2:30-3:00 pm. His Advisor is Prof. Ron Aminzade. In anticipation of a successful defense, the graduate program is planning a small celebration for Ryan, to be held 4:30 pm, 915 Soc Sci. All current department members are welcome to attend.
