ASA Awards Hernandez with MFP Fellowship

From a national pool of eligible applicants, The American Sociological Association (ASA) has awarded its 2010-11 Minority Fellowship Program (MFP) fellowship to UMN soc. grad. student Elaine Hernandez. The MFP supports the development and training of sociologists of color in any sub-area or specialty in the discipline and has supported over 500 students during its 35 year history. Congratulations, Elaine, for being chosen to be a part of this historic and important legacy!
