Vuolo Honored with "Best Dissertation" Award

Each year The Graduate School recognizes four of the University's top recent Ph.D. graduates with a "Best Dissertation" Award. A committee comprised of directors of graduate studies reviews applications from a pool of more than 1,000 eligible students. The 2010 winner in the Social and Behavioral Sciences and Education category is former sociology graduate student Dr. Michael Vuolo, for his dissertation, "Legal Context and Youth Drug Use: A Multilevel Analysis of the European Union." Congratulations, Mike!
