Hernandez Wins Prestigious NICHD Post-Doc

UMN sociology graduate student Elaine Hernandez has been awarded the F32 Ruth L. Kirschstein National Service Award Post-Doctoral Fellowship, funded by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development. The highly competitive and prestigious three-year fellowship begins in 2011-12 and is housed in the University of Texas Population Research Center. Elaine plans to defend her dissertation on August 26, 2011 and then quickly move to Texas for a September 1 start date. Good luck, Elaine!
