Imagine life without energy bills. That's the lofty goal behind the University of Minnesota's 'Solar House.' The earth-friendly home is scheduled to be completed by July in time to take part in the International 2009 Solar Decathlon.

Construction of the University of Minnesota's entry in the 2009 Solar Decathlon competition, the Icon Solar House, began in mid-April at the University's ReUse Center.
