The UMN Center for African American Men's Health seeks letters of intent for proposals that will be funded from $100,000 to $150,000 for 2 to 5-year projects. Research focus should be on social, economic, cultural, environmental, biological, genetic and clinical factors of racial disparity in CVD, stroke, cancer, and unintentional injuries and risky behavior across the lifespan of African American men. Co-sponsored by UMN, University of Alabama and Johns Hopkins University, the letters of intent, along with a one-page research concept, should be sent to Lisa Rogers at email@example.com by 4 pm on Dec. 14, 2012.
