Potential PCORI funding projected at $120 million

The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) released its notice of intent to publish Patient Centered Outcomes Research (PCORI) funding opportunities perhaps as early as next month. PCORI covers a broad spectrum of grants that include:
~Patient-generated health outcomes using data, clinical decision support and technology
~Pilot projects to enhance comparative effectiveness research
~Mentoring, career development and training opportunities
~Electronic data infrastructure projects
~BEST (bringing evidence to stakeholders for translation) dissemination of research
~Deliberative approaches for projects with patient involvement
PCORI incorporates a five-step approach to projects based on a national priorities and research agenda. Please contact ONRS if you have questions or intend to submit an application.
