HealthEast will spend $135 million on electronic health records

Dec. 19, 2012 - HealthEast is moving ahead on with a multimillion-dollar electronic health records system, which could allow for better sharing of patient data between Twin Cities hospitals.The Pioneer Press reports that the St. Paul-based health system approved a $135 million project, using a system from Verona, Wis.-based Epic Systems Corp.
