Lasker proposals sought

NIH is soliciting applications for the Lasker Clinical Research Scholars Program, an intramural-extramural opportunity supporting early stage clinical researchers. This two-phase program offers a unique bridge between the NIH intramural and extramural research communities. In the first phase, Lasker scholars receive five-to-seven-year appointments as tenure-track investigators with independent budgets that are subsidized by the NIH Intramural Research Program. In phase two, successful scholars become eligible for up to five years of NIH support within an extramural research facility or can choose to remain within the intramural program. Letters of intent are due May 24 and the application deadline is June 24. More information.
