Women's Center offers funding opportunities

The UMN Women's Center, offers a variety of awards and scholarships:
The Women's Center Institutional Change Grants (formerly Special Grants) seek to support a more inclusive, diverse UMN community with an enhanced campus climate for women faculty, staff, and students. Institutional Change Grants are intended to foster and support increased awareness, improved understanding, and institutional change. (Includes grant funding for projects specifically focused on changing the climate for P & A and CS/BU women). Deadline to apply is Friday, May 17 at 4:30 p.m.
The Mullen/Spector/Truax Women's Leadership Award is given annually to a UMN faculty or staff woman awho has made outstanding contributions to women's leadership development. Nomination deadline is Friday, May 17 at 4:30 p.m.
The Sara Evans Faculty Woman Scholar/Leader Award recognizes UMN women faculty who have achieved significant national and international accomplishments and also reflect a strong commitment to fostering future leaders. Nomination deadline is Friday, May 17 at 4:30 p.m.
The Sharon L. Doherty Student Leadership Award is given to a UMN student who has demonstrated outstanding volunteer service concerning women's issues on campus or in the broader community. Nomination deadline is Friday, June 7 at 4:30 p.m.
