CTSI opportunities available for junior faculty

The UMN Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) has opportunities to provide mentorship, oversight and funds to help junior faculty compete for NIH offers:
~New Investigator Pre-K Career Development Program provides $50,000 in research funds and $2,000 in travel money for new investigators (Assistant Professors in rank ≤ four years).
~KL2 Scholars Career Development Program covers 75 percent of salary, $25,000 in research funds and up to $1,000 for travel. (Assistant Professors in rank ≤ six years).
~K to R01 Transition to Independence Program recipients receive $50,000 in research funds and must have an active K award. (Assistant Professor in rank ≤ seven years).
Applications are due Dec. 11, 2013 and awards start March 1, 2014.
