Faculty, staff, and students are invited to join us for the First Annual Undergraduate Interdisciplinary Conference (UIC), hosted by the Department of Spanish and Portuguese Studies and the Institute for Global Studies. This conference will take place on April 4th and April 5th and will include presentations in Spanish, Portuguese, and English.

Graduate Student Angela George was recently selected as the Center for Advanced Research on Language Acquisition (CARLA) Fellow for the 2012-13 academic year. Angela is a Ph.D. candidate in Hispanic Linguistics and will be graduating this Spring. Congratulations, Angela!
