The SPH Roundtable Series: Public Health 2050, "The Changing Face of Minnesota Communities Now through 2050: How Will Public Health Respond?" will feature Minnesota State Demographer Tom Gillaspy as the keynote speaker. There will also be a panel discussion and time for a Q&A.

What: Seminar: The Impact of Public Reporting on Post-Acute Care

The keynote speaker for this seminar is Johannes (Hans') Brug. He is the director of the EMGO Institute for Trans and Extramural Health and Medical Research and professor of epidemiology at the VU University Medical Center in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

What: Market-Based Reforms in Health Care: The Next Step?

When: 3 p.m conference; 5 p.m. reception Tuesday, Dec. 9

Where: Cowles Auditorium, Hubert H. Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs, 301 19th Ave S.

The Center for the Study of Politics and Governance welcomes Governor Pawlenty and Minnesota business and health care leaders to discuss the potential for health reforms that build on private markets and on the implementation of reforms passed during the 2008 legislative session. A reception will follow the conference.
