Rural Emergency Department Staffing Challenges

Michelle CaseyDoctors and nurses in emergency rooms at rural hospitals are less likely to have advanced training in trauma life support than those in urban areas.

That’s according to health policy researcher Michelle Casey of the University of Minnesota.
