Heading home for break

As I write this I am flying over Nebraska on my way home to Denver, CO. I took off a little early for spring break to head home to help the family deal with some medical issues. My grandmother has been diagnosed with two rare forms of cancer. Its not the most fun to come home to help deal with things like this, but I am grateful for being able to. This and other family medical things have been preoccupying me for the past few weeks. I am looking forward to being with the family in person verse the phone.
Its hard to believe March is half way over. School is just flying bye this year. Having lots to do, sure makes things move quicker. I have a couple of big project coming up that are going to keep me busy. I have a paper and an analysis project in my Molecular Epi class. Both will be very interesting, but time consuming.
Work is keeping me pretty busy. We are moving forward on a paper on critical lifesaving drugs and their potential vulnerabilities. It a pretty cool project, that we have been working on a for a while. I was able to meet this past week with some folks in the Pharmacy school, which is really going to move the project forward. Its nice to have their expertise on the project and assistance with the data mining we are doing.
Well I should get back to reading papers for my molecular epi paper.
