Gregory Fowler is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Geneforum, an Oregon based nonprofit organization dedicated to “enhancing public understanding, promoting civic discourse and informing genetic policy through the measurement and monitoring of public values."
He is also senior research associate and program director, Technology and Citizenship Program, Center for Public Health Studies in the School of Community Health at Portland State University, and an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Oregon Health and Science University.

Meri T. Firpo is a leading embryonic stem cell scientist whose research focuses on finding a cure for diabetes. At the University of Minnesota Stem Cell Institute, she is working to create insulin-producing cells for transplant into patients with the disease.

Tuesday, May 22. Dr. Heather Nelson
Dr. Nelson received an M.P.H. in Toxicology from the University of Minnesota in 1993 and a Ph.D. in Cancer Biology from Harvard University in 1998. She was an assistant professor of Environmental Epidemiology in the Department of Environmental Health at Harvard before joining the faculty at the Universisty of Minnesota.
