Student Research Project: The Lowry Hill Tunnel

Girard GriggsGirard Griggs, a master's student in environmental health sciences, is studying pollution levels in the Lowry Hill tunnel, a quarter-mile-long tunnel on I-94 in Minneapolis.

Griggs says that the project is a "perfect application for utilizing our knowledge that we derive at the school, but also apply it to something that makes a difference in our community."
