The National Library of Medicine is pleased to announce that Series 1 of IndexCat, the online version of the Index Catalogue of the Library of the Surgeon-General's Office, is now available online at:

All five series are now available. Please note that this is still a pilot release - - - additional enhancements are under construction.

Posted by biomedref at June 21, 2004 03:39 PMIn each reference to a journal article, there should be a clickable cross reference from the abbreviated name of the journal to the full name of the journal, since many abbreviations are not immediately recognizable for expired journals or may be confusing, as for example, J M Sc for
Journal of Medical Science or Journal of Mental Science. Or instructions somewhere on each page on where to click to find the list of abbreviations used....
