Computer use policies for SMART Commons

A question came up from a student who asked if she could use MySpace, etc. in the Commons:
see below for the SMART Commons policy on computer use in the SC, from the SMART Commons policies

Computer use

The SLC is for academic-related uses
Absolutely no gaming is allowed in the Wilson SMART Learning Commons
Chat and email should be course-related. If it is not course-related, the SLC staff can request that you move to one of the many kiosks or computer labs located on campus.
Preference on multimedia computers is given to patrons who need the software or hardware that is only available on these computers.
If there is no activity on the computer (movement on the keyboard or mouse), the computer will be automatically logged out after 15 minutes and any unsaved work will be lost. Save often.
Anyone gone from a computer for more than 15 minutes can lose their computer if others are waiting.
SLC computers are cleared every night and all files will be cleaned from the computer at this time. Please save all documents on a floppy disc, CD, jump drive, or your UM server space.
Downloading software to the SLC computers is prohibited.
