Does anybody read this damn thing?
Ok, I'm a busy gal. As much as I enjoy posting things that interest me every now and then, I need a little more payoff. The truth is, aside from a few "faithful," I don't believe that anyone reads this thing. So, I'm keeping track. Scroll to the bottom of the page, and you'll see a tag for "Site Meter." This handy-dandy service is going to track how many people read, how often, and for how long. I'm not sure what my "worthwhile" threshold will be, but I'll keep you "posted." Oh, and thanks Pipster for the idea!
Also, if you read and don't comment, I don't want to pressure you, but feel free to let me know you're there.

I read your professional blog because I like to hear smart people talk about interesting things that are outside of my areas of expertise.
I would also encourage you to keep writing because the more you write about your subject, the more your name gets associated, and the more you'll be recognized as an expert. If you're the top hit on Google, it makes it much easier to land a job.
I get your site via syndication (that 'subscribe to this sites feed link'). So whenever you update, I basically get a copy in my inbox. So even thought I'm reading, your site meter won't increment. If you want to track subscriptions to your site, check out http://www.feedburner.com

I'm reading! I must admit I slacked off for a few weeks, but I've been traveling a lot for work. I suck. On a different note, a friend (yes, I have a friendish) is having a baby in a couple weeks and is planning on using cloth diapers. How did the whole cloth diaper thing go with Micah? How did you deal with it as in did you use these rice paper liners or something? She asked if I would ask you, so shoot me an email or comment on it, please!
