Why I'm on Weight Watchers...

Here's why. The photo on the right-hand side of the screen was taken mid-semester last Fall. To my left (your right) in the photo is the Director of Graduate Studies for the School of Social Work. So, not only do I look like a chunky-doughnut-eater, but also like a grade-A suck-up. Excellent. In any case, this picture of me, doughnut in hand, is a reminder to keep on keepin' on with my point-counting. 15 pounds shed, at least 15 to go!!! Wish me luck.

PS - Don't even think about writing me a "you're not fat!" comment. I will throw a doughnut at you!

poise that doughnut... but seriously, way to go on that 15 l-b's! It's hard coming to terms with the 30-something bod, and harder to keep disciplined... at least for me. If you get too skinny, I'll hurt you. :o)

Way to go! I am seriously impressed. And encouraged to do something for myself.
Love, G

Way to go losing some weight! At work, I'm literally surrounded by dieticians. I'm not kidding. My supervisor in Lincoln is a dietician and so are a lot of my other co-worker. And they just hired a totally hotty Physical Activity Coordinator, who I will be working closely with. So the winds be a changing and I have to get 5 to 9 a day. Maybe I should try weight watchers?

Good for you, Sarah! I too am in the Weight Watchers crowd and will start "doing meetings" this summer to shed my last 8. My only critique is that I'd like to see a post-15 lost picture. I don't think that deserves a donut throw!

Love ya!
