thinking about stress?

The first subject chapter 12 talks about is stress. I find examining stress to be quite interesting as each person reacts to stress differently and even gets stressed about different things. For example, I tend not to stress out about projects until I have reached the last minute and still have a lot of work to do. I don't particularly like the feeling, but the stress helps me concentrate and do a good job in the remaining time that I have. On the other hand, I have a friend who stresses out about a test immediately after taking it because she wonders how she does whereas I know that there is nothing I can do to change the grade so I have to live with what I got.
I also think the relationship between the body and stress is interesting. I have noticed that when I get overly stressed, I tend to sleep much more than normal. This is also mentioned in chapter 12 that stress can create physical discomfort and that physical discomfort can create stress.
