5 years from now, I think I will remember the most about individual differences in psychology. I think this is a very important aspect of psychology for all people to know and understand. When dealing with other people, as we all have to do in school and work, it is important to remember that everyone doesn't think the same way as you do. It's very important to remember this when working with other people

I will also remember a lot about the psychological disorders we learned about in chapter 15. I find psychological disorders really fascinating, and I really enjoyed learning about them. I think because of this, i will be able to remember a lot of information about them. I especially find schizophrenia interesting. I think this is because this is one of the most unique and mysterious disorders known.

I agree that those are both two very important aspects of psychology. If I had to pick one that would stick with me the longest would be the social disorders. I also found schizophrenia fascinating. I was always curious if you can self induce certain disorders. If this was a proven fact, i wonder how people would change their lifestyles.
Regarding schizophrenia, I thought it was really interesting to watch that video in class of a schizophrenic patient. I didn't really know what to expect, but it was fascinating seeing the symptoms of that disorder in someone who expressed them impeccably. It's amazing to me how things so small, like chemical imbalances and things of that nature which create mental disorders, can affect a person so much!
Individual differences is something that needs to be stressed more in a classroom setting, career setting, etc. It needs to be known that not everyone learns, performs or acts in the same way. I am glad you brought this topic up because that means you understand the importance of adhering to others needs. The various mental disorders we have learned are interesting as you said. It is something that we may not see a lot of in our lives and when presented with it we may not know how to react. That chapter was a great way to learn more about these disorders and the affects they have.
I agree with both topics that you point out. There are many things that I will remember in five years, and these two are some of them. I also enjoyed watching that video about the man with schizophrenia. It just fascinates me how people's minds can work so differently. I wish I could know what goes on the minds of those people who suffer those kinds of disorders.
I think psychological disorders are really interesting. The mind can malfunction in so many different ways and cause so many different conditions. It's incredible.
Psychological disorders and the way people think were two topics that I find myself reflecting on often. The way people think I found interesting because my parents are both engineers but tend to react to situations very differently. They have both had much of the same training but problem solve very differently. I know a woman who has bipolar disorder so I enjoyed learning about the ways the mind malfunctions and could relate back to some of the stories I had heard about the things she had done when she would go off her medication.
