generations,� Journal of Marriage and Divorce; Fall2005, Vol. 4 Issue 1, 111-115

In response to the theory of marital problems spanning generations, a longitudal study took place to show relationships between grandparents’ divorce and their grandchildren. Also, the study examined differences among sons and daughters of divorce and if the effects of parental divorce became stronger or weaker over time.
