Responses to A.Cook's Lolcat project

I posted some of my LOLcat pictures on dA, and in the space of few hours, I've gotten some very interesting responses. I'd like to post a link to the picture and the comments so you can see how people have reacted and how I've defended my work. I think these responses are a critical part of this series of pictures, and that's why I'm posting the link. Please direct your attention to the comments made by =BlakkReign. I'm curious, do you agree? Disagree? Think he's being unfair or is his argument justified? Is what I have done truly trash, as this man thinks? Or am I right to defend the pictures as "art"? Please leave a comment and share your opinion.

Since I posted this entry, the picture I linked to has been deleted by dA administratos for being a copyright violation. Intriguing, since I double checked dA's copyright policy to make sure I wasn't breaking any rules. Apparently following the rules is not enough when it comes to defacing the Mona Lisa.
