Walker Response

I have been to the walker only three times previous to our field trip and each time was to see an exhibition (Diane Arbus, Picasso, and Frida) so I haven't had the chance to see the permanent collection. I did walk through "Brave New Worlds" but I also got the chance to see the permanent collection. There were two works in the permanent collection that got my attention. The first was the "security guard" who went into some seizure-like dance to which I almost broke down laughing at. The second was a sculptural painting that looked like a thick mass of spider webs. It reminded me of what I imagine the inside of an ancient sarcophagus would look like.
