President Barack Obama rallied democrats at the University of Minnesota on behalf of gubernatorial hopeful Mark Dayton.
Obama spoke to a crowd of 7,000 people in the University's Field House, and to about 4,000 more people who watched from the Sports Pavilion, according to WCCO.
Obama rallied the crowd against the return to Bush-era economic policies just ten days before the election, according to the Washington Post.
The president said,"It's up to you to show them that this election is a choice. It's a choice between the policies that got us into this mess and the policies that are leading us out of this mess," according to the Washington Post.
Obama's visit was the fourth to the University by a sitting president, according to WCCO.
