Elizabeth Edwards died Tuesday after her six-year battle with breast cancer. She was 61.

Mourners gathered outside a church Saturday in Edenton, N.C. to remember the strength and courage of former presidential candidate John Edwards' wife, according to USA Today.

The service was held at Edenton United Methodist Church, and she will be laid to rest next to her son Wade, who died in a car accident in 1996, according to USA Today.

Actor refuses to turn phone off, escorted off plane

Josh Duhamel was taken off an airplane at New York's LaGuardia Airport after failing to shut off his Blackberry.

Duhamel, 38, pulled out his Blackberry and began texting while on the runway, according to People magazine.

A flight attendant asked the actor three times to turn the device off before take off, according to the Washington Post.

Passengers on the plane described Duhamel as "very rude," which angered the flight attendant, who redirected the plane back to the gate, according to the New York Daily News.

"Desperate Housewives" Star Splits From Husband

"Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria filed for divorce Wednesday from her husband, Tony Parker.

Longoria, who has been married to the NBA player for three years, filed for divorce in Los Angeles, and cited irreconcilable differences, according to USA Today.

Parker told People magazine that he and Longoria had been discussing their situation, and he knew Longoria would be filing for divorce.

Despite reports, Parker said that he did not file for divorce in Texas, and that they plan to keep there matters private, according to E! News.

The couple does not have any children together, according to USA Today.

Another Duggar Baby on the Way

The eldest son from The Learning Channel's "19 Kids and Counting" announced that he and his wife are expecting their second child.

This will be the second child for Josh Duggar and his wife Anna, who are both 22, according to People magazine.

The couple found out about the pregnancy on their daughter Mackynzie's first birthday on Oct. 8, according to the New York Daily News.

Anna said, "It was fun to announce it to everyone on that already happy day," according to People magazine.

This will be the second grandchild for Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, the parents of Josh, according the New York Daily News.

Taylor Swift's "Speak Now" is Well Received From Fans

The latest album from Taylor Swift, "Speak Now," has sold over 1 million copies since it was released last week.

"Speak Now" was certified platinum after selling 1,047,000 copies since its worldwide release on Oct. 25, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Nielsen SoundScan said that the 20-year-old's album sales have made it the fastest-selling new record in five years, according to the New York Times.

Keith Caulfield, associate director of charts for Billboard, said, "Even if you put aside the depression of the music market, and look back over the 20 years, this has only happened 16 times, including this week," according to the Los Angeles Times.

Swift said in a Twitter message to her fans on Wednesday, "I... Can't... Believe... This... You guys have absolutely lit up my world. Thank you."

This is yet another major accomplishment for Swift after winning four Grammy Awards earlier this year, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Police Called to Charlie Sheen's New York Hotel Room

Police were called to the Plaza Hotel Tuesday, where Charlie Sheen was found drunk and naked after trashing his hotel room.

Sheen, 45, was voluntarily taken to New York Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, and was treated for minor cuts on his feet, according to USA Today. An unidentified woman was also in Sheen's room, and her connection to him is unknown.

Sheen's rep released said, "What we are able to determine is that Charlie had an adverse allergic reaction to some medication and was taken to the hospital, where he is expected to be released tomorrow," according to People magazine.

Hotel security said that Sheen was disorderly and broke furniture in the room, but no criminal charges have been filed against him, according to USA Today.

Lindsay Lohan Ordered to Rehab and Not Jail

Lindsay Lohan was ordered back to rehab and not jail by a judge Friday in Los Angeles.

Lohan, 24, was ordered to remain in rehab until Jan. 3 after failing a drug test in September, according to People magazine.

A prosecutor pushed for 6-month stay in jail for Lohan, but the judge chose rehab after reviewing letter from Lohan, according to USA Today.

Lohan voluntarily checked herself into rehab after she failed a drug test last month, according to USA Today.

The actress is due back in court on Feb. 25, according to People magazine.

Courteney Cox and David Arquette Announce Separation

Courteney Cox and David Arquette announced Monday that they have been separated for some time, E! News confirmed.

Cox, 46, and Arquette, 39, who have a 6-year-old daughter, Coco, released a joint statement announcing their trial separation after 11 years of marriage, according to USA Today.

The statement said, "The reason for this separation is to better understand ourselves and the qualities we need in a partner and for our marriage, according the People magazine.

The couple also said in the statement that they plan to remain "best friends," who love each other deeply, and remain responsible parents of their daughter, according to USA Today.

The couple is currently working together on "Scream 4," according to E! News.

Three U of MN Students Killed in Car Crash

Three University of Minnesota students were killed Thursday in Wisconsin after an alleged drunk driver crashed into their car along a Wisconsin highway.

The three students were sitting in their stalled car on Interstate 39/90 near Madison, according to the Star Tribune, when an alleged drunk driver slammed into the car.

The names of the students will be released once family members have been notified, according to the Pioneer Press. Ryan Maus, a university spokesman, told the Pioneer Press that two of the students were members of the Spirit Squad.

Wisconsin State Patrol arrested a Madison man Thursday on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to the Star Tribune. His injuries were not life-threatening.

Giuliana and Bill Rancic shared their struggles to conceive on "The View" Friday in hope of helping others that are also struggling with conception.

The "E! News" co-host, Giuliana Rancic, and the first winner of "The Apprentice," Bill Rancic, had their struggles with conceiving chronicled on their reality show "Giuliana and Bill," according to US Weekly Magazine.

In the third season of "Giuliana and Bill" the audience will see the couple conceive a child by in vitro fertilization, according to the New York Daily News. However, a miscarriage halts the pregnancy 9 weeks in.

"Hopefully we can help people understand that there's nothing to be ashamed of," Giuliana told the New York Daily News, "It's such a taboo subject, but it's a very common problem."

The couple hopes to eventually become parents by either another round of in vitro fertilization or other options, according to USA Today.
