Many of us have heard about this, and some of us have met informally over a few lunches to discuss the literature related to this, as it eventually may involve several of us.

Good news: the latest is that it appears David will have a hand (with others) in writing the proposal for the Universities involvement in this Bush grant!

For the past several months, the evidence-based pedagogy group (Ilene Alexander, Kate Martin, Colleen Meyers, Jane O'Brien, Christina Petersen, and Bill Rozaitis) worked on a redesign of the online journals site with the goals of providing staff expertise and stewardship to the selection of specific journals, creating a site that is easier to navigate, and highlighting timely information and/or trends in educational research. Chris, along with former CTLer and Feeble-Bodied Seaman Paul Baepler, just completed a sailing class at Lake Harriet. The Coast Guard did not need to be called, even once. Nevertheless, we had a really good time. Our instructor, very calm and mature as we did our best to sink his boat, turned 19 between the 2nd and 3rd sessions.
