For this analysis, I picked an article from MPR about the Central Corridor light-rail line. This story uses three sources, Ramsey County CommissionerRafael Ortega, Metropolitan Council Chair Peter Bell, and University of Minnesota President Robert Bruinicks. All of the information and quotes from these sources are used consecutively with no jumping around with attributions. This makes it easy to understand who said what.
The only thing that confused me was where the reporter got her information regarding the light-rail proposal. It doesn't seem like common knowledge to me. She could very well have received it from one of her sources, but she doesn't mention which one. She only refers to "the project" which seems kind of vague to me. Some numbers are thrown around, and I'm left wondering whose numbers those are since there are many key players in this situation.
