Putin's successor wins

It may come as no surprise that the man Vladamir Putin chose to succeed him as the president of Russia has won the election. Dmitry Medvedev, who did not even participate in presidential debates, won in resounding fashion. Many have criticized the situation as non-democratic, and that Medvedev will simpy be a puppet for Putin, and Medvedev has done nothing to quell those rumors. President Bush, however, doesn't see it that way.
