Language Education Policy

In many troubled parts of the world, language issues continue to claim the forefront. In the world at-large, research continues to show that language rights are granted selectively and are poorly implemented. This language education policy interdisciplinary working group will build a national and international network for researchers/ graduate students interested in understanding, researching, challenging and/or implementing language education policy to:
  1. share rigorous empirical studies of actual cases and generalizations based on careful analysis of complex underlying patterns
  2. and cooperate for thematic sessions, like panels and workshop, for CIES conference
