Hmmm... What's running through that mind?

Take a look at my blogs that I try to keep up to date (work seems to often get in the way):

ICTs and Leapfrogging
Open Source and Learning (This one isn't often updated anymore)

And now: ICTs and Leapfrogging in Icelandic!

I'm a half American/half Icelandic fanatic about education, international collaboration and information technologies (and music - I always keep a guitar within reach). I've spent most of my life in Iceland, but also lived off and on in the US, Scotland and Greece. I guess my background has fueled my interest in international affairs.

I studied Philosophy at the University of Iceland and Comparative and International Development Education (CIDE) at the University of Minnesota and am currently doing my Ph.D. in Comparative Education there. You can read drafts of several chapters of my MA thesis (and several that didn't make it into the thesis) on my ICTs and leapfrogging development blog.

I'm currently working as a consultant on matters relating to international education and IT. Past and current clients include a number of educational institutions and organizations in Iceland. In the past I have worked at the University of Iceland's Office of International Education, Educate - Iceland, The European Centre for the Development of Vocational Education and Training (Cedefop), and the Icelandic National Agencies for the Lifelong Learning Programme, Erasmus and Erasmus Mundus, and Leonardo da Vinci.

And if you want to know more, there's always the CV.
