Oliver is ready for Halloween
Frankenstein, er, I mean Oliver had a bit of a mishap this morning that resulted in a trip to the ER.
It took 3 1/2 grown-ups to get the numbing gel on his eyebrow, a backboard with industrial-grade Velcro (and a few more adults), one suture nurse, 2 internal stitches and 12 regular stitches to sew his eyebrow back together.

Please, please, please tell me they didn't have to velcro him to the table. If the picture didn't break my heart enough the idea of that little sweetie being restrained would certainly do me in. Poor daddy having to be there for all of it! (Oh, and poor Oliver too!)

Velcro table? Of course not! Actually, Oliver sat calmly in a chair with a tumbler of scotch and a Camel cigarette while they stitched him up.
